UK’s first virtual outpatient service.

Medefer's mission is to reimagine how end-to-end outpatient services are delivered. The traditional outpatient model, unchanged since before the inception of the NHS, is riddled with significant inefficiencies and growing waiting times. In my role, I helped design a platform where GP referrals are reviewed and managed online by a faculty of NHS specialist consultants. This approach aims to eliminate the need for patients to wait for in-person hospital appointments, consequently reducing the massive backlog of patients waiting to be seen by specialists.
